Giri Nagar: The town is named after Giri River, situated at a 5 km from Dhaula Kuan, Nahan-Paonta Sahib highway. This place has the power house of 60MW and supplies power to Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.

Renuka Lake: Situated at a height of 672m, Renuka Lake is the largest natural lake across Himachal. Shaped like a reclining woman, embodiment of Goddess Renuka. Surrounded with woods, this lake lies in the long valley. Other noticeable places to visit in and around Nahan are: Rani Tal, Bikram bagh, khaddar-ka-bagh, Rosin & Turpine factory, Suketi Fossil Park, Dhaula Kuan, Paonta Sahib, Ambala, Balasundari Temple etc.
